And her is Colin's mom's shawl. She is made with TLC Cara Mia. She is very light, and soft. I like the color - it looks like a mix of pink and purple. I hope they all like their shawls. I need to get them in mail tomorrow. 

Here is Maida's shawl. I made it with Wendy Aran. I used the yarn until the ball was gone! So she is a little larger than my other ones. She is also a bit heavier, as the yarn is a 75% acrylic 25% wool mix, a bit fuzzy too.  

Here is the Seraphina I made for Karen, my sister in law. I made it in Cotton Plus. I like it just as much as the Capri. Great drape and shape. And the red is lovely. Hmmmmmm - may just have to make another one for my collection . 

Seraphina Shawl!!

Here is my Seraphina Shawl in Tahki/Charles Capri. I LOVE this pattern. It was super easy once it got going, and the shape is wonderful. It drapes perfectly. I had purchased this yarn off yarn.com and tried 3 different patterns before making this one. I kept running out of yarn, I had 10 balls but they were just 52 yards per ball :( I made this one with a size P hook, and just stopped when the yarn ran out. But it is a nice length. The yarn is an Egyptian cotton tape yarn, it has a nice sheen and is very soft. This is now my favorite church shawl.

And I fell so in love with the pattern that I have 2 more in progress and 1 that I have purchased the yarn for! I am making one for my MIL, and two SIL in England. I had been struggling with what to make them and even started something for my MIL, but ran out of yarn. But I think this is perfect. I am making one in Wendy Aran, one it Cotton Plus (this is turning out GREAT!!) and one in Tia Cara. Pics will be posting soon because they are making up fast! Day before Mother's Day

Mommy - We did not go anywhere but the park and chinese. NO WHERE ELSE. I know it seems like a long time, but we did not go ANYWHERE else. So don't think we stopped anywhere, we DID NOT. Just PARK, CHINESE and home. OK?

This morning I felt compelled to capture my two cuties. I feel so blessed to have both of these special people in my life. Jason has had a hard two days because he has strep throat. Apparently he has had it a while, but he just started complaining about it two days ago and was diagnosed yesterday. Yet - he is still smiling. After a dose of Motrin :) The pre-Motrin picture would not have been pretty!

Baby hats - I had some extra yarn and just experimented. I think I will make some of these in different size for hospitals with the extra yarn I have. 

My first star blankie. I made this for the eventual baby gift I know I will need to make. Next time someone has a baby boy - I won't wait until they are 8 weeks to give her a present!  

Here is my latest poncho - it's the Salt River Poncho from Southwest Trading Company in Bamboo. It was pretty quick to make but I was doing too many projects as usual, so it took longer than necessary. I can't wait to wear it with jeans! 

Here is the little cutie - Karan Joaquin Eyupoglu that I made the baby blanket for. He is precious! :)
